We are thrilled to have elite runner, Dawn Grunnagle join the 2024 Daufuskie Island Marathon and Half!
“Dawn has qualified for the 2012 Olympic Trials in the 1500m and is a 2016 and 2020 Olympic Trials Marathon qualifier. She will compete in her next marathon on February 29th at the 2020 Olympic Marathon Team Trials.”
Mrs. Grunnagle founded the group SpeedKIDZ, a youth program for 8th and under boys and girls that focuses on correct running form, agility, leadership with a commitment to community and team family.
Dawn will be at the pre-race pasta dinner on Friday, January 12th, 2024 sharing her pro tips and, talking about her children’s running program, SpeedKIDZ. The next morning, she will be toeing the line with all of the Daufuskie Island Marathon and Half runners!
